Plan. Cook. Win Your Weekend.
Built for your next backyard cook.

Weekend Pitmasters helps you work backward from serve time. Choose your cut, weight, pit, and cooking style to build a schedule with room for wrapping, resting, and a timing buffer.
The person behind the project
Eric Boettner builds and maintains Weekend Pitmasters. He is a backyard cook, husband, and father who likes turning a busy weekend into a clear meal plan. He also co-owns The Baker's Table with his wife, Kendra, and handles its technical infrastructure.
Eric's role here is project owner and guide editor. This site does not claim professional chef credentials, laboratory validation, or a personally tested cook for every timing row. Published cooking procedures and primary food-safety guidance inform the model. Its conversions remain planning assumptions.
How we earn and what we disclose
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Paid product links are identified near the links. The Baker's Table is an owner-related editorial resource; that connection is disclosed when its recipes are linked. Neither a product link nor a recipe link proves a timing result.
A plan you can adjust
The planner runs in your browser. You can save a cook locally, share a plan by URL, and optionally check a US weather forecast. Its timing is an estimate. Your actual cook may finish earlier or later.
